THE RISE AND FALL OF CAMPUS LIFE

TURNING OVER NEW LEAF

By, Psalmson Amani

SHALOM! My name is Psalmson and welcome to my EYESPOT blog channel. Today I just wanted to tell you about my autobiography as a University student. Here it goes.

First of all my life in University have been so amazing, but also challenges have been always on my side, not to weaken my strengths and burrying my dreams, but to make me strong in seeking the hidden golden skills and experience in MASS COMMUNICATION program.
It feels like it was yesterday, as I clearly remember when I travelled all the way from my matrimonial home to the city for the first time in my life. Dozens of questions lingered in my mind when my eyes came in contact to a huge billboard of the Technical University of Mombasa. But finally, a single answer satisfied my thousand questions____"I was turning over a new leaf of my life."

My first week in University was too harsh to me as I remember missing classes due to lack of proper communication with my fellow comrades. This led me missing several classes during the first month of the first semester for not knowing exactly, where the classes were despite of the orientation. This and the strict hostel rules have shown me the real taste that I was already on the adulthood step.

My life in Campus revolves around going to classes to attend lectures offered by our professional lecturers who always give us support and impacting us with  valuable knowledge and skills in Journalism profession.
Like any other course , Mass Communication is the most enjoyable program I have never heard of. I enjoy most of it's practical lessons that expose me into the real world of Journalism.

The other important thing is all about the daily experience from engagmenent with my friends in Campus. I enjoy the deadly and crazy conversations that makes each and every member in the panel break his/her ribs. This interaction on the other hand give me an insight to know thier cultures.

Time has been flying by and it is very hard to believe that I have been in University and have come to my final year already. Life in Technical University of Mombasa is a great experience that I plan to make great things out of.

To round off my story, I would like to tell you that coming to Technical University of Mombasa for the Mass Communication course has been the best decision for my career, and I have had so much fun living here and making new friends.

I wish all my parents, guardians, lecturers, and all  friends the best and bright future ahead.
